Straško beach in Novalja on the island of Pag does not lag behind the popular Zrče beach. It is a kilometer and a half long and you can easily find it in the south of the village if you have rented an apartment, room or holiday house in Novalja. Unlike the popular Zrće, Straško is a real family beach. The pebble belt is slightly descending into the sea and it is suitable for children, older people, and inferior swimmers. There are several restaurants along the beach with sports facilities are available. The beach is decorated and maintained, and the quality of the sea is described by the Blue Flag. Straško beach is intended for everyone - it has access for people with disabilities, and a special part of the beach is arranged and reserved for pets. The beach is under the waking eye of lifeguards in the summer, so you can indulge in worry-free hours, even if you're here with the kids. A green belt of oaks and pine trees is stretching along the beach where you can find a shade for lazy hours of rest from the warm Mediterranean sun.
