There are no sandy beaches on the island of Sliba, but some of the bays can boast a fine sandy bottom that has a cristal clear sea painted in turquoise and golden sun rays. The white pebble of the wide bay of Sotorisce is like a sheet in whose soft arms we want to lay our body. Sotorisce bay is facing east, on the neighbouring island of Olib and the bluish seafront. A ferry that sails around the island to Silba will bring you to the heart of the place. You will hardly find an apartment, room or holiday house in Silba if you have not previously booked one, because the accommodation capacity is small, and there are many who want to taste the charms of the island. Sotorisce beach is located outside the settlement, on the opposite side of the island, and since there are no vehicles on the island, you will have to walk to the beach. Do not worry, it's just over a kilometre away from the main dock, which is a 15-minute walk. Such peace and wilderness of the Mediterranean you will rarely encounter elsewhere. There is a bar offering refreshments in the summer months on the beach The pleasure of the Sotorisce beach finds everyone - the youngest in the shallows of the spacious bay, and adults in socializing on the rocky part or paved approaches to the paradise sea of the island.
