Pakomina Beach on Hvar is a place few know about. This number would be even smaller if there was no restaurant in the bay bearing the same name, which attracts all lovers of fine cuisine and delicious local wine. Pakomina is a small cove on the south side of the island. If you have rented a room, apartment or holiday house on Hvar, you will be here in half an hour's drive on the winding island road from Zastražišće, which is only 15 kilometers long. Every effort pays off as Pakomina preserves the Adriatic's charm in its silver pebbles and the lush greenery that surrounds the beach. The pebbly shallows of the beach are surrounded by rocks with small piers imprinted, so you can easily dock here as well. As the bay is far from the larger settlements, there is never a crowd on this beach, and the serenity is only disturbed by the song of crickets and the breath of waves coming from the south. Rare stone houses outline the bay and offer the perfect scenery for a magical Mediterranean postcard.
