Pag bridge

The Pag bridge connects the island of Pag with the nearest mainland. It bridges the so-called Ljubačka vrata and due to it the island of Pag is less of an island, and more available whenever we want. If you have rented an apartment, room or holiday home on Pag, you can get here by a ferry or the bridge. The Pag bridge is only 301 meters long, and it was opened to traffic on November 17, 1968. It has proved to be an important strategic point since then. It was the only link between the central and southern Croatian Adriatic during the Homeland War. The Pag bridge still plays a very important role in the economic life of the island of Pag because it makes available everything that the inhabitants of the mainland consider natural, and many other islands do not have. Due to the bridge, we can find ourselves on the island at any time and enjoy the charms of the moon-shaped Pag and its gastronomic and natural tresaures.
