As the old hotel port Kornati became too small for the many visitors of this Dalmatian pearl in time, Marina Kornati Biograd was built here in the western part of the town. In the mid-80s of last century, the old port capacity is expanded, and thus Marina with 450 berths popped out. Today, Marina Kornati occupies 90,000 square meters of sea and 40,000 square meters of surface of the earth, and is one of the largest marinas in the Zadar County. If you have rented accommodation in Biograd you might easily visit some of 40 national and international regattas. More than 30 fleets have established Marina Kornati in the center of nautical tourism of northern Dalmatia. Marina has 15 jetties with 750 berths, electrical connections and water, and quite dry berths for the service and maintenance of vehicles. For each locker located on the pier every 19 meters, were constructed 6 electrical connections, a lighting apparatus, and two taps. Electrical cabinets meet European standards.
