Biograd na moru (Biograd n/m) is a town and a port in northern Dalmatia. It is partly located at the small peninsula and partly at the coast, about 28 kilometers on the south from the town of Zadar. Total population is around 6 thousand inhabitants. Climate is Mediterranean, with an average temperature of 7 degrees Celsius in January and 24,5 degrees Celsius in July. Biograd is local trade and travel center, very well connected with its surroundings as it lies on the important road way through Dalmatia, called Jadranska Magistrala. Tourism in Biograd is well developed, with many years of tradition.
