Lukovo beach

If you have rented an apartment, a room or a vacation house around Senj, you have the perfect opportunity to take a bath in one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Lukovo beach is located in the samename place, Lukovo Otocko, 20 kilometers from Senj to the south. You can reach it if you take the road that descends to the south 90 kilometers from Rijeka, than turn into a beautiful bay, with the highest sea temperatures of the North Adriatic. The site has only 50 houses and the seabed there is intact because of the prohibition of large fishing boats. The picturesque peninsula protects the beach from the southern winds from the open sea. Here you will not find loud bars and restaurants, parasols and deck chairs. Lukovo beach is hidden from the massive invasion of tourists, but also from pollution and urban heritage. Look for peace on Lukovo beach with family or a romantic moment with your better half. And, shhh, do not tell anyone about this place, preserve its magic.
Search for the parking place in the village because there is no such space around the beach. Stretch your legs, and in just a two minute walk you`ll reach this paradise. By the way, you can walk up to the peninsula and for a 5 minute walk get to the small ethnographic museum, and if you're ready for a little climb, in 15 minutes you can reach the prehistoric fort on the hill Klis with the unforgettable view of the bay Lukovo.
