The festival lasts for five days and you can taste everything along with homemade brandy of figs, of course, and dancing on the streets of Krk. It is assumed that fig was one of the first plants cultivated for human consumption. In addition to it, there is the fact that fresh figs can be eaten only where it grew - the fig cannot stay fresh for more than a day or two, and you will hardly find it in the store on the continent. Once it is picked it no longer ripens, as most of the other fruits.
