Ferry port Drvenik

A small town Drvenik is situated on a part of mainland, where the south cape of island Hvar points while stretching towards the coast across playful warm Adriatic waves. Drvenik is the shortest route from land to the island Hvar if you happened to have rented an apartment, room or vacation house in Drvenik. It is the other connection of it with the rest of Croatia, beside Split. It is also the picturesque Dalmatian town with a beauty we usually spot just passing through, except in case we missed our ferry line. The ferry port Drvenik is settled out of the town itself and it is not marked by ferry facilities. There is just ferry pear, small, but of the great importance for inhabitants of the island. The journey to Sućuraj on Hvar takes just 34 minutes. Therefore, lines are very common from early June till October – departing eleven times from any location in a day. So, take your time, let the breeze take you down the Adriatic highway from Split through magical places of Makarska Riviera to Drvenik where the ferry departs any time.
