Cycling Novalja Pag

The island of Pag is one of the most beautiful Croatian islands, although its nudity differs from the forests and the macaque cover of other inhabited islands on this side of the Adriatic. Pag relief is bare, still it looks like it is keeping a secret of existence and birth, a secret which is embossed as an unbreakable cipher in the whimsical stump of its rocks. And that is why Pag is loved by cyclists who drift through its narrow and wide trails that overlap under the mysterious eye of the sun. Novalja on the island of Pag is the most famous due to a wild nightlife and the most beautiful beaches, and it is less known that a number of cycling races are held here during the year which lovers of the two wheels do not miss. Cycling in Novalja on Pag is recognized by more and more private renters, so if you rent an apartment, room or vacation house in Novalja, you can easily find place for your bicycles or rent one. There are few cyclists races which are pure pleasure for cyclists. Bike tour Novalja - Lun - Novalja takes place at the end of July. Lun is a place at the north-western cape of the island, which less than 20 kilometres away from Novalja, at the road through centuries-old olive groves. The cycling race Paška lace, starts from Prezid, passes through Jasenica, Pag, Novalja and ends in Lun. It will be held at the end of October. The Paška čipka cyclotourist marathon is held in late June, with international character, and bicyclists from 10 to 90 years participating. The length is 43 kilometres.
