You are searching for the territorial borders, but also those of your own, and, therefore have decided to rent an apartment on the island Vis or perhaps even on the small one beside, Bisevo. Riding the waves for 55 kilometers, heading from Split to high seas, and you'll reach the offshore islands, islands where reality disappears in the foam of the waves carried away by a wind called Tramuntana and dissolving as a shirt worn in the sun. Here you will remove all your clothes, not always literally, and forget the ties that bind you to everyday life. The island of Bisevo is a sandy island with steep banks, dug up and torn apart by cavities and caves, with volcanic sand deposits inside. The ancient volcanoes of the central Adriatic, extending through this area, have left their mark in space and time, painting the landscape of the most striking images, such as the Blue cave on Bisevo. High seas know no calm. The wind here does not size ever, flogging your face and arms, makes you squint towards the sun, letting yourself go to the dew of the waves. Yet, just a 15 minutes boat ride can get you from Komiza on Vis to the Blue cave on Bisevo. It is difficult to describe the magic of this place. The refraction of lights in the caves in the daylight paints it in blue crystal. Here you can safely open your eyes and absorb each bluish beam that penetrates the surface of open pure water. The Blue cave will penetrate in your heart and remain there wherever you go. Besides visiting the cave, you can go to some of the sandy beaches in one of the three ports of Bisevo; Salbunara, Porat or Mezoporat. Famous island vine, Bisevo plavac, and fresh seafood prepared in a traditional way takes you away from this world and give you the opportunity to learn the proper way of loving the sea. Prices of excursions vary depending on the length and locations included in the tour, but already for a hundred kunas, you can start from Komiza and paint your summer with the deep blue of the Blue cave and refreshing breeze of the open sea.
