Bjelolasica Ski resort is the largest and most popular ski resort in Croatia. If you rent accommodation in Jasenak, you will find yourself about 10 kilometers (as the crow flies) from the ski resort, and the same applies if you book a vacation house in Gorski Kotar elsewhere. The Bjelolasica Ski resort is located on a mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 1,534 meters. It is open from December to March and offers a variety of facilities for all ages and levels of skiing skills during the season. It is an excellent place for everyone who loves skiing and snowboarding. In addition to winter joys, Bjelolasica also offers hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, and developed hunting tourism. Active holidays in Gorski Kotar can be complemented by rafting on fast rivers or canoeing on Lake Sabljaci, which is about 30 kilometers from Jasenak.
