Jasenak is a small mountain village located in Gorski Kotar, within the city of Ogulin. Jasenak was founded in the 17th century when shepherds from Gomirje settled in these parts. In the past, it was an important trade and craft center, but today it is a small, rural village with less than 200 inhabitants.
