Not far from Maslenica, a quiet village in Zadar County, karst beauty river flows into the sea. This part of the coast it is called Novigrad sea, the part where the water is brackish with sandy dunes that face of lush plum of Zrmanja River. Zrmanja is navigable at the length of 69 kilometers, with canyons up to 180 meters in places. Beaches around Maslenica are rocky, with the occasional hidden pebble bays, and a sandy bottom which can be found at the mouth of Zrmanja. The water is clean, rich in minerals that invigorate spirit and body in conjunction with the magical Mediterranean summer sun. Zrmanja is 240 meters wide at the mouth.
