Zaklopatica is on the north side of the island Lastovo, 2 kilometers northwest of the city Lastovo, and opposite the islet of Zaklopatica. There is ferry port Ubili 7 kilometers far. Considering the last census in 2001 it has around 70 inhabitants employed in hospitality, tourism and fishing. You can find accommodation in private rooms and apartments.Tourists are every year coming to this place because they enjoy beautiful and clean sea, unspoiled nature and the Mediterranean climate. From the gastronomic aspect, there are three restaurants and fish market where you can buy fresh fish. If you are interested in sports, Zaklopatica is ideal place for diving and sailing because of numerous bays and beauties of Lastovo Archipelago.
