Zaklopatica is on the north side of the island Lastovo, 2 kilometers northwest of the city Lastovo, and opposite the islet of Zaklopatica. There is ferry port Ubili 7 kilometers far. Considering the last census in 2001 it has around 70 inhabitants employed in hospitality, tourism and fishing.
