Vučedol Culture Museum in Vukovar is a museum that preserves unique archaeological remains of the Vučedol culture from the Bronze Age. The museum was originally opened in 1972 in the former post office building, and in the middle of 2015, a new multimedia museum was opened, located 4 kilometers downstream from Vukovar, on the Danube banks, at the site of the archaeological site that now sits on the museum roof! This way, the museum seamlessly blends with its surroundings and has become one of the most significant attractions in the eastern part of Croatia.
