Vrana is a place located in the hinterland of the coastal Pakoštane on shores of Vrana Lake. In the Middle Ages it was the possession of Croatian kings, and as such it has a significant place in Croatian history. The settlement first developed around the fortress "Castrum Aureane", which was mentioned in the 9th century for the first time. It was always said that Vrana was one of the most dazzling places in Dalmatia. Because of the interesting and bustling history, tourists are welcome to visit.
