Vinkovci is the oldest inhabited settlement in Slavonia. The continuity of 8,000 years, up to todays city with about 35 thousand souls, brings us a legacy from the younger Stone Age. Vinkovci is decorated with the name of the longest continuously inhabited European town today. An Orion vessel was found on the territory of the city - the oldest Indo-European calendar dated 2600 BC.
Civilizations and cultural achievements matured here. By the Roman name Cibalia, it produced two emperors. Driving along the Roman roads, through the dust of the centuries, we will reach the railway hub, the most important in Europe, in the second half of the 20th century.
