Sevid is a wonderful place which is loved by holidaymakers and guests, mostly because of the peace and relaxing moments here abound. The place is located in the municipality of Marina, 19 kilometers from Trogir, on the border between Šibenik-Knin and Split-Dalmatia County. Many who run south along the highway do not notice a cape thrown into the clear waves of the Adriatic. The settlement on the cape was named after archaeological remains of the church of St. Vid in Sevid. Saint Vid was born in the south of Sicily, with many worshippers in our area. The churches in his honor are built on the hills for St. Vid to "see everything" (op.a. vid means sight in Croatian) and has always been cherished as the protector of eyes and sight. However, St. Vid is called in times of storm, fire, infertility, and trouble ahead of us. Problems are all forgotten in Sevid without any problem, perhaps because of the protection of the St. Vid, and enjoying the apartments, rooms and holiday homes in Sevid is incredibly easy. Visit the remains and the church of St. Vid on a breathtaking spot with the unforgettable view of Sevid and its seaside
