Srebrena beach on Vis is something special - located outside of all the settlements and roads that intersect on the slopes of the island. Those who do not know the island believe that Vis has only two settlements - the famous Komiža and shy Vis, and do not know that there are places on the southwestern slopes that hide the true charm of the island, which is our most remote inhabited island (with more than a few inhabitants). One such settlement is Rukavac. It descends from the hill to the bay opposite the islet of Ravnik. If you have rented accommodation in Vis, you will not find Srebrena beach in that bay. It is located out of place, in the adjacent bay, where there is a deposit of broad silver pebbles lined with flat rocks. Days full of sunshine and a heart full of peace, that is the summer on the Srebrena beach, and the wilderness of the place is disturbed only by one cafe at the bottom of the bay. The same goes for the silence, which is here hiding from the hustle and bustle of summer and waiting for you to fall into its warm sunny embrace.
