Spačvanska šuma (Spačva Forest) is the largest sedge oak forest in Europe. Unlike the golden wheat fields, Spačva is an endless sea of greenery. It covers an area of 40 thousand hectares. It is somewhat more cultivated today, the wood industry is strong here. However, we can still find oak trees older than 800 years in the Spačva forest! These are impressive specimens that can grow over 50 meters.
