Novigrad, nestled high in the north on the Istrian peninsula, on the edge of a miracolous bay, can boast mostly by rocky beaches. The reflection of the sun's heat on bronze long stone slabs is cut off by pebble stripes now and than. Sirena (Mermaid) Camp Beach is one of such beaches, a place that has been crowded in the summer months, while in the other months of the year it offers pleasant romantic walks in front of the long shadows of the sunset. Due to its cleanliness and facilities, the beach regularly carries the Blue Flag, like all the other best beaches on the Adriatic. And the Blue Flag means a lot of things to experience and do here, like renting sun loungers and sunshades, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, bicycles, jet-ski, use of the aqua park for children, tennis, water polo and basketball courts and the possibility to explore Novigrad underwater. Despite the sunshades available, if you are fast enough, you can have a shade beneath the lush hats of the pines and surrounding vegetation, while the refreshments can be found in a restaurant and bars next to the beach. For the shy ones, there are changing cabins, while the salt from your skin can be taken off under the showers that are scattered on the beach. You will not hear mermaids singing, but you will find yourself singing out of joy here. Rent an apartment, a room or a holiday house in Novigrad and explore all of its beaches.
