Rogoznica is situated in Šibensko – Kninska County, and is about 34 kilometers far away from Šibenik. It is somewhere in the middle of Šibenik and Split. It is a small mostly fishermen’s place, but lately becoming valuable tourist destination too. Total population of Rogoznica area is 2391 inhabitants, but just Rogoznica has about 800 inhabitants. Accommodation capacities are in private apartments and villas. Most of them are just by the sea, with small beaches. During the summer this place is full of events of all kinds, and most popular is Fishermen’s night. Most popular sights are old Church of St. Ivan from the year 1324, and chapel of St. Nikola.
