Orebić is located on the northern east of the peninsula Pelješac, under the hill of St. Ilija. It settled at the Pelješac channel, just across town of Korčula and it is connected with it by a ferry. Total population of Orebić is 4165 inhabitants. Orebić don’t have many permanent residents, but many are visiting it every year. It is also a tourist village now. Accommodation capacities are still sufficient to receive all tourists. Most of the capacities are in private apartments, but accommodation could also be found in a hotel or in a camp. Pelješac, and thus Orebić, are well known by its wines, so it would be a good idea to try them and be a witness of their quality. Recently, one cave is open, as it was buried by the stones, and in it was found many valuable items old more than 2000 years. Now it is open for the tourists.
