Olib is an island of 26.1 km2, with the highest peak of 74 m It is connected with Zadar by daily boat line travelling for two and a half of hour. Since the island was inhabited since the Roman times, there are several archaeological sites on it, and the only settlement of the same name, Olib, there the tower from 17th century. The island is dominated by lush vegetation and pastures, there are several secluded coves, and the shores are sandy, so is the sandy beach in the bay of Slatinica, favourite among tourist who visit this charming corner of the Earth. There is no hotel, but you can find comfortable
accommodation in Olib in apartments and rooms. Except in the privacy and authenticity of the island, you can enjoy diving and fishing, but also traditional home made food, olive oil, cheese and wine.
