New Olive Oil Days in Vodnjan were first held in 2005 in support of excellent olive growers in the region. Vodnjan extra virgin olive oil is an indigenous brand and one of the best oils of its kind in the world. However, it is only one of the products that will be offered by more than 100 exhibitors in three days, where besides oil, other homegrown food and agricultural products will be available. However, the event has not only a sales and tasting character, but Vodnjan is also a place where olive growers gather, educate and exchange experiences that contribute to the development of olive culture in Croatia. The curiosity of the manifestation is the presentation of the so-called Planting collection with over 100 varieties of olive trees.
