The beach in the bay of Mavarštica on Čiovo is one of those amazing places we al believe we have found them quite accidentally, and in fact, it is the place that has always been waiting for us, waiting for us to find it and to realize that it is just what we have dreamed of. Mavarštica is also a village on the island of Čiovo, an island that is not divided from the mainland, with a narrow bridge that makes it literally part of Trogir, one of the largest tourist, cultural, and historical centers on the Croatian coast. Being so close to the magical stone heart of Trogir, and yet in such a quiet place, Mavarštica is an interesting scenery for a summer vacation that only a few families will nag. The beach in the bay of Mavarštica on Čiovo is a place for a family stay by the sea, on the south side of the island with an unforgettable view of the islands of Brač and Šolta. There is only 5 kilometers distance from the center of Trogir, but as if those are two separated worlds - while Trogir lives on urban roads, Mavarštica is a loving rural idyll. The pebble beach of the beach is rarely crowded with swimmers but offers access to a perfectly clean sea and daytime sunshine. The low forest at the bottom of the beach offer some natural shade, but you will have to take care of your true refreshment because the beach has no additional content. There are several catering establishments nearby, and you can reach the beach by car if you have rented accommodation on Čiovo or by a pedestrian walk from a kilometer-distanced Okrug Gornji along the coastline decorated with low docks. Enjoy!
