Apartments MAJA are located in a family house about 200 meters from the pebble beach in Makarska, and less than 10 minutes walk to the waterfront The house has three accommodation units, each with a separate entrance. Modernly equipped make your stay more pleasant: air conditioning, TV, kitchens with standard equipment and the necessary cutlery and cooking utensils, and balconies or terraces where you can enjoy a vacation or lunch during breaks from summer activities. The house is not directly exposed to the street and provides guests with peace from street noise and safety for children. Guests are happy to bring home a bay leaf, a sprig of rosemary from our garden as a souvenir of summer, but also a fragrant Mediterranean spice. Private parking is located inside the fenced yard. Your pets are welcome as guests.

The time until which the guest has to leave the accommodation unit on the day of departure is 10 am, while the arrival of guests is scheduled from 2 pm, and by arrangement even earlier. Advance payment is required in the amount of 20% of the total amount.

Where to start! Our first stay started way back in 2018 and we return to Maja and Igor's place every year. Beautiful apartments, yes we stayed in every one, where you have everything you need on vacation. I don't know what I would recommend first, but since we are talking about accommodation, let it be that. It means a fantastic apartment with its own yard that you have absolutely as if you were at home, morning coffee in the shade or evening wine, deckchairs for relaxing and of course, an occasional visit to the irresistible Tonka. The equipment of the apartment is also very good, it has everything you need, even what you don't need on an annual basis, for example a vacuum cleaner. I'm kidding. Particularly interesting are the details, namely Maja's handiwork, which embellish the apartment. The nearest beach is just down one street, which is not very steep, but you can always find a slightly further location for swimming, as we did, because these are the charms of Makarska. Also, to the city and the waterfront in just 10 minutes through those narrow, stone streets with restaurants and shops. Parking is also provided in the yard. Special thanks to Maja and Igor, really great hosts, always there for any question, recommendation, advice you get in a very short time. Somehow it seems like we've known each other for years. See you again.

The apartment is very nicely decorated with Maja's handicrafts, spacious, well-maintained and with two bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Very good location a few minutes walk from the beach and at the same time far enough from the busy street to rest peacefully after a day of enjoying the charms of Makarska and the surrounding area. The apartment was very nice and well equipped. We could also use the large terrace. We also had free parking. There are small supermarkets and bakeries nearby, which can be reached quickly on foot. It's also not far to the beach. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The hostess Maja is very accommodating and gave us a friendly welcome. We would stay here again if we come to Makarska again.

When a business develops through generations and you know how it was built, then what you get is sure to be quality. You will surely have the vacation you imagined here. The feeling of being at home, but washed by the morning freshness from Biokovo and sunny until late in the afternoon. Peace, quiet and privacy will not be disturbed even by the daily visit of the tame and faithful Tonka dog. When you return home, you will miss her too. Modernly equipped accommodation in every part preserves the story from past times told through Maja's handicrafts and art. We had 100% comfort in our apartment with two bathrooms, two rooms, two terraces. During your stay, you have the option of changing bed linen and towels, and there is a washing machine for your belongings if you wish. For those who prepare food here, microwaves and gas and electric stoves are provided, so that meals are ready quickly. Parking in the yard is a convenience for anyone who comes by car. Everything you need is close enough, but also far enough to preserve your peace and enjoyment. Although they live in the same house, the hosts will be present only as much as you need. A man does not anchor himself in every place... and we received an anchor as a welcome gift... for our new meetings, but also for you, dear reader. I don't know where to start, whether Maja is a better host or accommodation that is at an enviable level than the decoration, cleanliness, small details that win you over at first !!! Rarely at sea do you feel at home and we feel that way here. Even when Tonkica greets us cheerfully and the children wave their tails, they say we had our own puppy !!! Till next time...

I cannot decide what was better- the price, location, accommodation, or the owner. A sweet lady, her family, and her dog Tonka made us feel like we were coming to a friend’s place. The apartment has a large patio outside which was perfect for my dog. The kitchen is fully functional and the bathroom is clean and proper. Our vacation was really wonderful. The accommodation is in a very nice location near the beach and the center. Nothing to disagree about the reviews mentioned here. Why to return again?: -location of apartment (close to see/close to downtown) -clean room -friendly, intelligent owners always ready to help you if needed -breakfast on balcony under the palm tree :-) Dont know about you, but we have already found our place to stay in Makarska city.
We have spent our holidays here 3 times. That's the proof of that we are very satisfied with everything: the premises are clean and bright and the backyard with the palmtrees is really lovely. :) The owners are great people: friendly, intelligent and helpful. Everything's in the near: the beach (there are several "types" of beaches here, which is really good - you can choose the right one), the center, the bus-station... (Except the post office, which isn't as close as we thought it for the first time... :D ) The neighbourhood is quiet, so you can have a rest here as well. But there's also a lot of sights, the sea and the beach is wonderful - and all these are by the beautiful Biokovo.

First of all - wonderful hosts - we always go back to them! Very good place for those seeking peace on vacation - an unforgettable morning at a palm tree with coffee cup in hand :-) For those interested in "kucica" available - but we advise you to ask the hosts detail :-) :-) During talks with Maja, be sure to ask about her hobbies - before you can open the "special" door to his kingdom :-) The area also offers many unforgettable experiences and attractions - swim in the sea nearby admire tops of mountains, wandering in the mountains admire the vastness of the sea, and of the nearby islands :-) Why Makarska is SO FAR from Szczecin?! :-(

We are back and forth umpteen years ago, Maya and her family are always welcome. We are completely satisfied with the accommodation, great location and is close to the beach in the city center. The rooms are clean and tidy, warm and completely comfortable. The sea is not the same, but the Biokovora lovely views. I saw the pictures of the renovated apartment, well even better wait to see it live and dwell :)
