Sandy beach 
Pebble beach Lumbarda is famous for its sandy beaches. Pržina and Bilin žal. What does the word Pržina mean? Pržina is a Lumbar word for sand. Enough to say… The beach is protected from north winds, a shallow bay facing south allows for pleasant swimming in the pre-season, and often until deep in the 11th month. Pržina is a very popular and well-visited beach, so it is sometimes full of people and it is difficult to find a place on the beach. Pržina is loved by both tourists and locals who come to the beach for fun and socializing. There is also a fast food bar on the beach and there is a possibility of renting umbrellas and deck chairs. Not only guests of Lumbarda come to the beach, but it is popular among tourists from the entire island of Korcula. Another sandy beach in Lumbarda is Bilin žal. It is located on the opposite side of the beach Pržina, and are only a few minutes walk through the vineyards of the Greeks. Bilin žal beach has a view to the north-east, the Pelješac peninsula and the islands of the Korčula archipelago.
