May you get to Solta, it is the old curse of those who have never dreamed that the beauty of the island will be cherished someday by the souls and bodies of the travellers and lovers of the Dalmatian islands. Island Solta, all in olive groves, roots and Mediterranean herbs, is famous as a hedonistic paradise, a place for relaxation and tuning all body's senses. It is less known that this tame island has its wild side, the same one that accompanies adrenaline lovers. Solta has that strange part of its character and share it aversely, jealously keeping its most secret treasure, revealing it only to those who are doing more to find it. And those who put the effort know that Solta has one of the most beautiful climbing rocks in the Adriatic, with the southern shores fluttered by streaked rocks. Krizce climbing rock is not far from Grohote and if you find an accommodation in Solta here, it can be reached after a 10-minute drive by a car or a 20-minute long walk. The macadam route leading to Krizice is scarce, it offers a parking place for just a few cars to park. The drywall net is leading from the parking lot to the rock, passing through a meadow of low aromatic Mediterranean plants, all marked with stone soles and red paint upon them. It is worthwhile to come to this place because Krizice offer a fantastic views of islands Brac, Hvar and Vis. The high rock rises vertically above the sea, but the directions do not touch the surface - at a height of 4 meters there is a shelf where you can stand safely. Krizice climbing rock is equipped with a gelender - a fixed rope which allows access to the lower flanks and provides a fixed point for climbers. The rock is 40 meters wide and the climb is pleasant throughout the year. Due to its concave shape, the rock is protected from winds, except for the strong southern one that breaks on the tops of the rock. The rock is fired by the sun in the summer, so wait for the cooler hours and never forget the safety - you climb to your own responsibility!
