Jadrija is favourite place for many inhabitants of Šibenik because its great beach and resort for nice weekend vacation. It is situated on peninsula Srima and small former islet of St. Andrija. Importance of Jadrija lies in its good position on Adriatic Highway and daily boat lines connecting Jadrija with Šibenik, so in 1922. Jadrija became public beach.
