Ika is a small fishing village located between Ičići and Lovran, which is only 3 kilometers away form Opatija. This is the perfect place for peacefully and quality rest, because tourism here remembers its beginning in the year1820., and until today it is well developed thanks to the large number of comfortable accommodation and a very gracious host. Today there are inhabited only 500 people, who are, besides fishing, mostly facing all to tourism activities. In winter, this place is revived with the arrival of students who are attending the Faculty of travel management, which is located near the center.
