Historical underwater park Mali Losinj

Underwater Historical Park in Mali Losinj is a real treat for lovers of diving and history! In this park, you have a unique opportunity to experience the underwater world in a whole new atmosphere which reminiscent of the old days of actual detection of underwater treasures. This is an innovative, completely different way to learn about the magic of the underwater world which is accessible to everyone, to those experienced divers, but also to beginners with the help of instructors through the "Discovery Dive" program. All of this is provided by the diving club Diver - Losinj located about 1 kilometer away from the town center in the Cikat bay. You can see 11 different exhibits that tell the rich history of Losinj and its surroundings during your dive in the park. The tour through the park is about three hundred meters long and here you can meet replicas of cannons from the 16th century, Venetian cannons, anchors from the 4th and 5th centuries, replicas of ancient amphoras ... The most attractive is a replica of the ancient Greek athlete Apoxyomenos (2nd - 1st century BC ) mounted life-size, and the plan is to set up several new exhibits.
