Haludovo beach Malinska

Another forgotten tourist complex, something like the one in Kupari near Dubrovnik, is located in Malinska on the island of Krk. In the 70s and 80s Haludovo was the most modern and most luxurious tourist resort of the former Yugoslavia state and it was well-known in the whole world. Today, it is almost completely destroyed and left over to the weather and the inexhaustible act of nature. Although the Palace Hotel has closed its reception long since, the beach under the hotel complex is still there, as a reminder of time passing by and warning of the importance of the moment - catching every moment of enjoyment and relaxation, worry will pass by. Haludovo has been projected by a distinguished domestic architect, Boris Magas, a generation of architects who shaped space for people as a part of nature, respecting both, and thus creating a space that, despite today's neglect and omission to its destiny, functions as a part of the environment. Haludovo beach is mostly rocky, with tiled sections bordering the shallows popular among children and their parents. Although there is no additional content, the beach is quite visited, perhaps mostly because of centuries-old pine trees that offer plenty of shade and full enjoyment with the song of crickets and mistral. The beach and the sea is perfectly clear, smiling and playable under the golden sun of the Mediterranean Sea. If you have rented an apartment, a room or a vacation house in Malinska, visit Haludovo beach and find the peace of the present in the arms of the famous past.
