Gornji Karin Beach

Gornji Karin Beach is, of course, in Gornji Karin village. This is a place which administratively belongs to the municipality of Obrovac, in contrast to the Donji Karin which is under town Benkovac. The two places are separated by rivers Karisnica, and there is a stream Bijela (White) River in Gornji Karin as well. Here, where Bijala River and Karisnica flow into the sea, there is a beach Gornji Karin, which is full of healing mud besides its gravel and concrete part. The beach is not regulated, but it is well maintained and clean. There's no multitude of beach facilities and content, but it does not bother with numerous small groups of enthusiasts in the sea and relaxed enjoyment. Restaurants and shops are within and easy to reach, and the beach is not too crowded which ensures a quiet summer day away from the crowds and traffic jams which are quite frequent at the Adriatic. If you have rented an apartment, a room or a holiday house in Gornji Karin or destination, at this beach you can enjoy in the company of your better half, family, friends or a dog - everything is allowed and relaxed.
