Game of Thrones or GOT, many recognize as the popular series that has glorified the beauty of Croatian cities all over the planet. Braavos, King's Landing, City of Meereen, all owe its exceptional look to the Dalmatian towns of Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, and Šibenik. The scenes are filmed in other attractive locations in Spain, Morocco, Iceland, Ireland as well. However, it is no wonder that the Game of Throne Museum in Split is established in 2019, in the city whose Diocletian's palace became the prison of the dragons and the throne of Daenerys, the Stormborn, from the House of Targaryen, the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne, Mother of the Dragons. Fans of the popular series will enjoy the setting of the Game of Thrones Split Museum featuring an impressive collection of items from the shooting in Croatia, and items that HBO has been kindly donated to the site. In addition to the exhibits used on the set, the Museum brings actor`s figures in the natural size, with the imposing figure of the dragon, which is the work of Kaštela's academic sculptor Mislav Katalinić. The dark and cold atmosphere in series has been painted in the interior of the Museum so that the visitors will be shaken most of the time they spend in the Museum. That atmosphere is intentional and challenged with special effects, and the exhibition itself will be constantly changing and upgrading with details that will not leave any visitor indifferent. The Museum is located on Bosanska Street, near Diocletian's basements, and you will find it easy if you rent an apartment, room or holiday house in Split.
