Ferry port Sumartin on Brac

The island of Brac is loved by many lovers of island life and hot summer days on Dalmatian islands, and it certainly deserves two ferry ports. One is in Supetar on the northeast of the island, while the Sumartin ferry port is placed on the southern shores of Brac in village, called Sumartin, of course. Sumartin ferry port is also called Brac's Gate, and it is open to all those arriving from Makarska, a magical Mediterranean town at the foot of the mighty Biokovo mountain. Let's go back to Brac, in Sumartin. We have the opportunity to hit the Sumartin dock 5 times during the day in the season, by ferry connecting Makarska and Brac. The ferry runs approximately every three hours, the first starts at 8 am, and the last from Makarska departs at 9 pm. The first one from Brac sails at 6 am, when the Brac workers are sleepily embarking on a journey to their day shift on the land. The journey lasts an entire hour, and the ticket for travellers costs somewhat more than 30 kuna. For a personal car ride, you will give more than 200 kuna. This is not so much for those who love Brac or for those who will yet find out that they love Brac when they debark at the Sumartin ferry port and discover the enchanting coast of the island of Brac.
