Drniš is Croatian city established during the invasion of Turks, so you can find many historical monuments such as Gradina and “Meštrovićevo Vrelo Života”. It is located on river Čikola and it has very good position. There is only 20 minutes ride from Drniš to Šibenik. According to the last population census in 2001, Drniš area has around 8600 inhabitants, but only city Drniš has around 3300 inhabitants. If you wanna stay, you will see accommodation is mostly in private apartments in Drniš. Climate of Drniš region is mix of continental and Mediterranean, with warm summers and cold winters, which is ideal for the many gastronomic attractions such as wine, goat cheese and the most famous Drniš ham. If you are fond of sightseeing you can visit many culture monuments like Gradina, fortresses Kamičak, Ključica, Nečven and Bogočin. There is also church of st. Roko and church of st. Ante. It is also worth to mention that there is Visovac and Nature Park Roški Slap nearby. There are not any summer attractions, but you can always have a drive to the coastal cities which are not too far away.
