Divna beach on Pelješac

Divna beach on Pelješac, doesn't that sound wonderful (considering that Divna means Wonderful in Croatian)? The Latin proverb "Nomen est omen", which means that the name already has some important features, is totally valid here. The long carpet of silver pebbles that descends slightly into the turquoise sea is wonderful. The beach is bathed all day with clear sea and long sun rays that please the swimmers. You can shelter your tanned body in the shade of pine trees that hang over parts of the beach or under the awning of a cafe bar offering refreshments. The beach is surrounded by steep slopes overgrown with aromatic herbs and macchia, typical of this climate. There an islet of the same name in front of the bay, and the camp of the same name is at the bottom of the bay. If you have rented an apartment, room or holiday house in Trpanj on Pelješac, you will drive about 10 kilometers to Divna, and you can also reach it on foot from villages of Duba and Donja Vručica. The entrance to the beach is, of course, free and there are no deck chairs and parasols yet, so bring your props with you if the warm touch of pebble and the caressing of the clear sea are not enough. This is a place for divine enjoyment of summer!
