If you want to rent an apartment, a room or a vacation house on the bare South of Croatia, right by the Montenegro boarder, there is a small place named Molunat, surrounded by the most clean and bluish crystals of the sea. Diving here is not a possibility of choice, it is almost the irresistible desire, because of the transparent and warm sea, an ivitation to the unforgettable trip to wondering deeps. This is not the place just for adventurists, but also for the history facts and mystery lovers. Molunat waters are rich with bays and islands, thus suitable for beginners and professionals. There is no problem to find a diving instructor in the village who will take a good care of you on your native language. Special challenge for everyone are archeological findings nearby, like that one with over a thousand of amforas. The other one is 9,5 nautical miles away for Molunat. It is a war cruiser ˙Kaiser Franz Joseph´ which was built in 1890 and sunk 27 years later. It sailed across the North sea, Baltic, Asia and Mediterranean. Although the ship was built for long term battles, it sunk in just one stormy night. It can be found by Oštro cape and spotted on 15 meters of depth. Many sea creatures have found their home in dark chambers of this shipwreck, jet they are all harmless. That's the reason why divers like to explore exterior of the ship, as well as its mysterious and intriguing interior.
