Đakovo Cathedral is one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Slavonia and Croatia as a whole. It is dedicated to St. Peter, the first pope, and serves as the seat of the Đakovo-Osijek Archdiocese. The interior of the cathedral is richly decorated with stuccoes, frescoes, and stained glass windows.
