Cesminica Beach Sucuraj Hvar

If you have already stayed in one of the apartments, rooms or holiday houses in Sucuraj on Hvar, you already know that the place is surrounded by magical beaches overlooking the eastern sea of this unique island. The sun, which shines almost 3000 hours a year here, is awakening the island of Hvar, bringing its warm rays first to Sucuraj and its tame and lazy beaches. Cesminica Beach is a local beach placed in the bay of the same name, which is only a few hundred meters away from the centre of the village. The beach has everything you could want, the rocky and concrete sections that surround a long stripe of small gravel and sand. The seabed is sandy and shallow and suitable for children in weaker swimmers. Part of it is encircled by buoys, and the broad strip of seas offers opportunities for water sports, from picigin to diving and exploring the colourful Hvar submarine. There are showers on the beach, and the green tamarisk and pines bordering the coastline offer plenty of natural shade to protect you from unmerciful sunshine. Although you can easily reach the beach by foot, there is a parking place so you can relax here even if you arrive from other parts of the island. There is a cafe on the beach, one of those where you can drink coffee or cocktail in the swimming suit and throw yourself back into the blue clear sea from the terrace.
