Boombarstick Festival Vodnjan

Vodnjan is a small and picturesque town located 10 kilometers from Pula and it is not difficult to find an accommodation there; an apartment, a room or a house in Vodnjan are ideal for holidays and a summer of your dreams. From the early summer of 2013, Vodnjan has Boombarstick festival which was established by Boom gallery. Subtitled as Urban Arts & Music Festival, the event has conquered the streets and literally painted them in bright colors, fantasy and happiness. National and international artists have occupied squares and facades, painting the phantasmagorical scenes of fantasy, which evoke the imagination creativity and freedom. No one passes through the streets of Vodnjan remaining indifferent. The festival has energized the participants and visitors and it is continuing in the years to come. Boombarstick Festival experience its boom in 2015 when it began to occupy Vodnjan from May 1 to November 1, offering a wide range of events accompanied by DJ sets and concerts. The mission of the festival is not just fun and exhibitionism, Boombarstick wants to show the world that Istria is a multicultural environment where creativity is encouraged and fostered. This festival unites all entrepreneurs of Vodnjan and its surroundings: the crowded city streets are a platform for linking local communities, artists, students, farmers, producers of food products and other goods, artisans and musicians. They all live and work as one during these five months of the year, and the result is visible in every corner of the town. Many artists and musicians will revive Vodnjan again this summer, relive your imagination, feed your spirit, and take you through the memorable landscapes of the soul.
