The greenest Croatian island has its golden sights - sandy beaches, including the Blaće beach on Mljet (Limoni beach called as well) a very carefully guarded secret. The Blaće beach is not such a beach that anyone who has ever hired an apartment, room or holiday house on Mljet visited. Locals and those who explored the southeastern coasts of the island know about it. The beach can be found at a 20-minute walking path under lush pine trees with an aromatic entourage of the island herbs from the settlement of Saplunara. This part of the island does not belong to the national park, but it is famous for its natural exceptions, such as the Blaće beach, which is nesting between the low rocks, protected from curious views and summer rush characteristic for the other parts of the island. If you decide to visit this jewel of the Adriatic, bring everything along, there are no facilities on Blaće beach, catering or recreational attractions. Perhaps that fact is the attraction itself, and it is joined here by the incredibly azure sea and the peace of the summer morning. It will not take you long to realize how little a man needs for pleasure.
