The mouth of Dubracina is hiding the history of this region for centuries. There was almost no construction work in the area around Dubracina, which did not generate any new historical artifact. The old assumptions have been confirmed by the great archaeological research on the auxiliary football field area. Extremely valuable archaeological remains of pottery workshop were found which belonged to the ancient village Ad Turres. There is a small archaeological park on that site today with a replica of a Roman fireplace, which is constantly rising. The demonstration day of Ad Turres in July attracts thousands of visitors to the archaeological site. That is the time of a year when the replica of the Roman fireplace for pottery actually works and produce faithful replicas of pottery with the taste of the Roman cuisine and wine. The city is crowded with boys and girls in clothes of that time, creating an atmosphere of ancient antiquities. The days of Add Turres are one of the most important events of Crikvenica, and the archaeological site, the most attractive part of the tourist offer. We advise you to visit it. Do not miss if you plan to book accommodation in Crikvenica in July.
