ACI Marina Split

ACI Marina Split is situated at the North the peninsula Sustipan in the Split harbor. It is one of the best marina on the Adriatic. The marina has 318 berths and 30 places for boats on land. Modernly equipped marina offers everything a sailor needs: reception with a currency exchange and ATMs, restaurants, bars, laundry, shops, charter agencies and boat stores along with those with nautical equipment, service workshop, crane up to 10 tons, slipway of 45 tons, needle to remove the mast, Wi-Fi wireless Internet access and fuel station which is about one hundred meters away. Entrance to the marina is not simple because of the great maritime traffic in the port of Split. Sailing into marina is not simple due to dense traffic of Split harbor. The port is facilitated by a wide entrance which has a good system of light signaling. There is a famous bell tower St. Duje as a landmark, stone lighthouse with a light (Fl (2) 20s 54m 10M, Cape Sustipan with the red light on the left and a green light at the head of the breakwater on the right. A long breakwater is ideal protection from southerly winds while Sustipan protects the harbor from the north wind. The marina is the beginning of the long and famous Split promenade which will lead you to Split and its attractions. You should not miss a visit to Diocletian palace or the Museum of archaeological monuments, the oldest Croatian museum from 1820. At the same time, many claim that the Croatian girls are the prettiest in Split, so the walk to town will certainly be a sight for sore eyes, if not the soul. Split offers wide choice of apartments, rooms and holiday houses, for everyone`s taste and pocket.
