Sveti Juraj is a small picturesque village. Just driving 9 kilometres to the south along the shore from ancient town Senj, and Jurjevo is there. It is resting on the sea line of Velebit`s canal, merged by a hill Gradina beneath the mighty mountain Velebit, and an islet Lisac on the other side. It is a typical littoral village with just 600 something people living in. There are remains of Mediaeval church Sv. Juraj on the cemetery by the sea.
