Pinezić is a village located on the island Krk, 9 km northwest of the city of Krk, located between big tourist locations such as Krk and Malinska. Nearby is the ferry dock Valbiska that connects the islands of Krk and Cres. It has population of 134 inhabitants according to the last census in 2001 year. People are mainly working in tourism and fishing.The only forms of accommodation in Pinezić are private apartments.If you like sea, there is local beach Jert, which got blue flag due its tidiness and equipment. Village has a rich history. It is considered that the village is built in the Middle Ages. One of interesting locations to visit is church of St. Fuska na moru located in bay St. Fuska, first time mentioned in 1338. During the repair there were found Roman bricks, wall, tiles, amphorae and few graves.
