Apartments in Krk Čižići
Čižići (Cizici) is a small place on the island Krk and it is a part of Municipality Dobrinj. It is located on the northern part of this Municipality, in a bay called Soline. Because of a small depth of the bay and a lack of sea fluctuations, this little bay of Čižići has pleasant and warm sea, almost all year around. Near Čižići is a place called Meline, which is famous with it's medicinal mud, and sea environment with touch of salty air enhancing that healthy and warm experience.
The village Čižići exists from the middle ages, but its inhabitants were moving to a higher part of the land, away from the sea, where still can be found interesting old houses escaped from the marks of time. Today with only 92 people living there, Čižići are well tourist developed destination. There You can find good and pleasant accommodation, mainly in private apartments taking more than half of houses in the area. The new road linking Čižići with Omišalj is a big contribution to a tourism, as well as a nearness of town Rijeka, with which Čižići is connected over the Krk’s bridge.
Taking this perspective and nature source of health, there are future projects which will make it the most wanted destination. Big port is building in center of the place, as well as a golf course on a half peninsula Sulinj, which closes the Soline bay. There is also one wonder of nature which must not be passed, cave Biserujka, which is placed few kilometers from Čižići. The cave is 110 meters long and it is most visited cave in Croatia.
