Duga uvala beach on Čiovo is a sandy beach located at the bottom of the bay on the southwest coast of the island, not far from Okrug Gornji. If you have rented an apartment, room or holiday house on Čiovo, you will reach Duga uvala in a few minutes by car, but you can also walk, because the beach is less than 3 kilometers away from the center. You don’t have to carry a lot of things with you as there is a restaurant and several beach bars nearby. There is no crowd here, but you can find peace and magic of the Mediterranean that rests on the beaches of the bay. In addition to the sandy part, there are also paved waterfronts and rocks for more agile swimmers. The sea view is adorned by the picturesque island of Sveta Fumija, which protects the bay from aggressive winds.
